FIGGIT Privacy Notice

Last updated: 3 October 2026
Pre-launch draft. Some operator details below are still to be confirmed and this notice will be finalised before FIGGIT launches.

Who we are

FIGGIT is a new platform for fidget collectors.

For data-protection purposes, the person or organisation operating FIGGIT is the data controller.

  • Operator: [Operator name to be confirmed]
  • Postal address: [Postal address to be confirmed]
  • Privacy contact: please use our contact form for now.

What we currently collect

During the pre-launch phase, FIGGIT may collect:

Early access

  • first name
  • email address
  • audience type (for example collector or parent)
  • optional collection interest
  • confirmation that you are 18 or over
  • a record of your marketing consent (the wording you agreed to, when, and where)

Contact

  • name
  • email
  • subject
  • message

Technical and security

  • basic server and security logs
  • information needed to protect the service against abuse and spam

Cookie preferences

FIGGIT does not currently collect account profiles, addresses, trades, messages, payments or postage information. Those services have not launched.

Why we use information

  • Early-access updates — based on your consent.
  • Contact enquiries — our legitimate interests in responding to genuine enquiries and, where relevant, steps you ask us to take before entering an arrangement.
  • Security and abuse prevention — our legitimate interests in protecting the service and its users.
  • Optional analytics — only with your consent. FIGGIT does not currently use any.
  • Necessary storage — used only where required to provide the website functionality you've asked for.

Marketing

FIGGIT only sends pre-launch update emails to people who have actively asked to receive them. You can withdraw consent at any time. Once email delivery is set up, every marketing email will include a clear unsubscribe link. Until then, you can ask to be removed through our contact form.

We do not sell contact details and we do not share our mailing list with third-party advertisers.

Children

FIGGIT is likely to interest younger collectors, so privacy and age-appropriate design are being considered from the beginning.

Our current early-access mailing list is for adults aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to sign up on your behalf.

The future FIGGIT product may include experiences for younger collectors through parent or guardian-managed accounts. Those features are not live yet and will require separate privacy and safeguarding design before launch.

Who processes information for us

FIGGIT may use carefully selected service providers for website hosting, database storage, email delivery, website security and spam prevention, and analytics only where enabled with consent. At the moment, FIGGIT uses providers for hosting and database storage. No email delivery or analytics provider is connected yet.

Providers may only use personal information to provide their services to FIGGIT, under appropriate arrangements.

International processing

Some service providers may store or process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards where these are required.

How long we keep information

  • Waitlist details are kept while you want to stay on the FIGGIT pre-launch list and for a reasonable period around launch, unless you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Contact enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably needed to deal with your enquiry and related records.
  • Security logs follow appropriate operational retention periods.
  • We may keep a minimal record where needed to respect an unsubscribe request or to show that consent was given.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you
  • have it corrected
  • have it deleted
  • restrict how we use it
  • object to how we use it
  • receive it in a portable format
  • withdraw your consent at any time

Which rights apply depends on the circumstances and the lawful basis we rely on. To make a request, please use our contact form.

If you're unhappy after contacting us, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes

This notice will change as FIGGIT develops. Where changes are significant, we'll communicate them clearly where appropriate.
